Position Description

  • VuePoint Diagnostics, a rapidly growing Healthcare Service Company specializing in Mobile and On-Demand Radiology & Health Services located in Birmingham, AL is looking for a Head of Strategy & Operations to lead our Health Screening Division through extensive growth, as well as guide through strategic product line and service expansions.
  • Reporting to the company CEO, the candidate will be responsible for all daily company operations across a multi-state area while assisting and supervising the field technician and call center representative teams.
  • The candidate will be responsible for helping the management team to develop a company strategic and operational plan and executing the plan, working across the organization to ensure seamless execution.
  • The candidate will focus the plan to creating a strong, efficient foundation to optimize current operations and ensure the platform is scalable to execute strong market demand.
  • The candidate will build and execute the operations platform, as well as plan and build the technology and people resources required to scale the business, while ensuring company profitability and productivity targets.
  • The candidate will set goals and targets and manage outcomes for the clinical and customer service teams to
    achieve.
  • The candidate will assist the Company Billing/Revenue Management team to ensure that the necessary information flow and documentation is available to bill and collect for the company’s services from all identified payers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the clinical and field technologist teams follow all pertinent regulatory and quality assurance requirements for the diagnostic services delivered.
  • All Federal and state licensing requirements are up to date and ready for any inspection.
  • The candidate will oversee the management of the company’s vehicle and equipment fleet to support the field technologists.
  • The candidate will participate in the development of an annual company budget and financial reporting providing operational insights to leadership.
  • The candidate will assist the commercial team to ensure successful execution on contracts and to quickly resolve any service issues that are escalated from our client base, rapidly addressing any customer inquiries and service issues.
  • Occasional overnight travel (20%) may be required throughout the course of the work week.

Candidate Experience

  • 7-10 years supervisory or management experience with a healthcare services or distribution company
  • Proven success leading customer service and call center operations
  • Outstanding communication, leadership and teamwork skills
  • Basic knowledge of the Medicare Advantage STAR and HEDIS quality programs, and Home Health industries strongly preferred
  • The successful candidate must have experience in developing his/her team members for promotion and additional job responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Past experience with mobile diagnostics and in-home screening are a plus.
