We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative, experienced business data analyst to join our rapidly growing team to support business operations, and to manage, collect, analyze, and report data to internal and external stakeholders, as well as to assess and analyze our internal systems and processes to identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities.

VuePoint Diagnostics Health Screening improves access to critical preventive health services by delivering care in patient homes and at their local primary care offices. We partner directly with health insurance plans to ensure their members receive required annual services, such as diabetic eye exams and bone mineral density testing. Deployed in 35 states and growing rapidly, this role is critical to ensuring our sustainable, successful expansion in 2023 and beyond.

We need your help ensuring operations and performance data is accurate and accessible to stakeholders in a timely manner, identifying and implementing improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness of internal operations, and learning our proprietary software platform, understanding user needs, and making recommendations for enhancements that will drive bigger results.

The position will require skillsets from data, business, and systems analysis so ideal candidates will have well-rounded experience, preferably with exposure to healthcare or health technology, with EMR experience being a bonus.

Strong technology, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills are absolute requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and interpreting data, measuring performance against KRIs/KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Analyzing results, and identifying patterns and trends, as well as opportunities for improvement
  • Creating & delivering results via reports to serve both internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborating closely with users, teams, and/or leadership to understand and align efforts with business needs
  • Defining new data collection, analysis processes and procedures to enhance operations
  • Determining effectiveness of new processes
  • Learning user experiences with proprietary platform, understanding use cases, and making recommendations to leadership on additional features and benefits to drive efficiency
  • Translating user and/or systems requirements and information into functional technical specifications
  • Writing and maintaining systems documentation, including user and technical manuals
  • Acting as a liaison between the development team and end users to ensure functional requirements are met, and deliver end user satisfaction and optimal experience.
  • Collaborating with system designers, and IT and IS teams to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent
  • Recording or running training sessions on system processes, as needed
  • Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
  • Structuring and prioritizing business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval
  • Training unit leaders and/or end users on new systems or processes
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting as well as monitoring adherence to those
  • Financial modeling and support with pricing new service offerings

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in data models and reporting solutions
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and produce user-specific reporting
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A curious, analytical mind with appetite for problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Critical thinking, teamwork and collaboration skills
  • A strong work ethic, follow up and follow through, timeliness
  • Experience working with senior leadership in a consulting or project management capacity.
  • Demonstrable experience with statistical models and database toolsets such as SQL and Excel.
  • Degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or related field is preferred
